I added digital art downloads to my online shop and here is why.
First though - what are digital art downloads?
They are versions of my illustrations that you can download and print yourself at home.
Once you make the payment, you will be able to download these images immediately and use them straight away.
Just be mindful to purchase the correct size of the digital illustration. For example, if you purchase a digital A6 postcard, don't try to print it at an A4 size: it will look bad.
Please note that these are for your personal use only and not for resale. This means that you can print them and hang them on your wall (or frame them) or give them to friends and family but you can't sell them further at fairs, online or anywhere else. You also cannot use the images to create your own products that you sell further. (If you are looking for an image to resell or use on products, please get in touch with the details and I am sure we can work something out).
Where can I buy digital art?
Many illustrators offer these on their website or on art marketplaces such as Etsy.
Why do you offer digital versions of your art?
1. Shipping costs. A lot of Ingloriouse friends are scattered around the globe and ordering one of my products is not always viable. And I get that.
Shipping costs are rising by the day and no matter how much I would like it, as an illustrator working on her own, I cannot offer worldwide free shipping. And oh my, delivery costs can get extortionate!
2. Impatience. A few customers (me included actually!) are slaves to the mighty god of instant gratification and do not want to wait days (or weeks, depending where they are based) for their delivery of goods. Here's when a digital download comes in handy as you get it the moment you place the order. No more waiting around!
3. Control. You might want to use a specific type of paper or maybe you want to add a personalised message to my illustrations. With a digital download you can do that 100%, resulting in an illustration that is exactly as you want it to be.
4. Support an artist. Maybe you do not want to hang my illustrations on your wall, but you want to show your support. A digital download is an awesome way to support your fave artists. You can even use the illustrations as screensavers (if you selected a large enough file).

Go to the digital downloads section on my website.
Choose a product you want to purchase and add it to your cart. I will choose this one here, with the grannie and cat:
Add it to your basket, check out and pay as you normally would.
As part of your order confirmation (both on the screen and via email), you will be able to download the image straight away.
Once you have it downloaded, you can add your own message on it in Photoshop, Canva etc (we added 'Happy birthday' here as it was part of a birthday present), select the paper you want to use and send it to your printer. The result for this specific A6 postcard should look like this:

I am so sorry! But unfortunately digital downloads are not refundable. This is because you get instant access to them and are able to download them straight away. However, if you have any issues with the downloads, please let me know and I will do my absolute best to help out.
